How Intersession Fullfills the BHS Core Values:

The BHS Mission Statement:

The mission of our school community is to develop knowledgeable, inquiring and caring young people who become confident lifelong learners.

Intersession is a three-day (or more!) learning experience.  We take a break for the three days before April vacation to explore a myriad of concepts and ideas that connect to the Bow High School core vlaues of learning.  Learning occurs in creative and experiential ways, and activites range from multi-day excursions to community service to hands-on crafting.  Whether it is immersion in a culture or exploring life skills, intersession bridges academic learning in a more relaxed atmosphere where students and teachers can build new bonds with each other.
