Assessment for Intersession is included on a BHS student’s permanent transcript. Grading will be as follows:
SP-Successful Participation
EP- Excused Participation (must recieve administrative approval)
NP-Non Participation
UP–Unsuccessful Participation

Intersession
Selection
Please remember to fill out the selection form on time and with parent's signature. We ask for seven choices in case the first few are filled. The vast majority of students will recieve one of their top five choices, but we ask for seven just in case! Selection is based on seniority. For more infromation, please check out our video about the selection process.
Extended Learning Opportunities
Some experiences go beyond what can be done in three days. These learning experiences offer credit; it's called an Extended Learning Opportunity (or ELO for short). These trips have been scheduled long before the usual intersession roll out in November or December because of the time it takes to plan the logistics and finances as well as the learning components. Be watching for announcements in March or May for opportunities for the next year. Recent ELO experiences include conservation science in Belize, a trip to China, and a trip to South Africa.
